This new developed range of solar stand-alone cooling containers offers solutions which are best suitable for areas with unsafe or missing electricity supply systems. All applications are exclusively
supplied by photovoltaic arrays which are connected to a special adapted cooling and energy storage system. The storage capacities are calculated for three consecutive days without remarkable sun
radiation rates. The over all energy optimised system design in conjunction with longterm security of supply and long life-time of all components as basic design objectives ensures competitive
solutions especially in regions where the energy demand of the selfsufficient stand-alone cooling system coincides with high solar radiation rates. The modular design with special adaptations to the
specific requirements allows various applications, e.g. medicines cooling containers for remote area hospitals, medical care bases or cold-storages for food-stuffs, while the transportability enables
temporary as well as stationary operation and installation.
