The new development of a self-sufficient ice producing machine which is exclusively powered by solar energy was done with regard to the needs for remote areas to meet temporary cooling demands of companies and / or private households. The design conception gives special attention to commercial and private user demands and extreme ambient conditions, i. e. to hot climates with lot sunshine and varying levels of relative humidity. Storage possibility of the produced ice is included in the design. Sun is used as power source with help of photovoltaic panels only.
